4. Coaching Confidentiality

All information shared within a coaching engagement is treated as strictly confidential. Our coaches adhere to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which requires that all coaching conversations be held in confidence unless:

• The client gives explicit written consent to share specific information
• There is an imminent and serious risk of harm to the client or others
• We are legally required to disclose information by a court or competent authority

Where coaching is sponsored by an employer, we agree in advance with both the employer and the client what summary information (if any) may be shared with the sponsor. Individual session content is never disclosed without the client's consent.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Trusted third parties who assist us with website hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and assessment tools — all bound by confidentiality agreements
• Coaching team members: Within Forest Harbor Hall, strictly on a need-to-know basis for service delivery
• Legal authorities: If required by Ugandan law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients or the public

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. General retention periods:

• Contact form submissions: 3 years
• Coaching engagement records: 7 years (for legal and professional standards compliance)
• Financial records: 7 years (Uganda Revenue Authority requirements)
• Marketing contact preferences: Until you withdraw consent or request deletion
